Ahhhh!!!

I have been doing so much lately! It's a good busy though, just enjoying this new season of blessing and harvest. In the past couple months Josh and I have done SO much! Here are some of our adventures:

Teen Challenge Banquet

Day in San Francisco
(I brought him to my first home and my romping grounds aka the Teen Challenge Men's Center)

Spent some time with my family (met my brother's family for the first time)

And we had a blast with Eli and Faby (and other great friends) at a haunted corn maze in Sacramento!

He also played with me when I did worship for 1st Baptist's 2 day Writer's Conference in Elk Grove. It was a powerful time saturated with God's presence, and I was so blessed to be surrounded by amazing, anointed musicians! I'm also so happy to lead worship once a month with Josh on our team. It's weird, but I feel actually more free and anointed when he's there. My Pastor says it's because he provides a covering for me. I'm excited about future ministry together!

Needless to say, I'm one blessed woman. My Pastor is wise in saying "Usually good and bad run on parallel courses and arrive at the same time." Don't let my blog or facebook fool you, not that I'm trying to. But I don't broadcast my difficult times or private struggles because somethings are actually meant to be private (novel idea). Even though I'm walking through some things, God is ALWAYS so so faithful. He gives strength and grace for whatever comes my way so I can stand up under it. And I'm so blessed to have an incredible man of God by my side through it all.

Work Trip to Missouri!

So last month, some of us from work went to Springfield, Missouri for the Secretary-Treasurer's Seminar. It was nice having friends there from work and getting to know each other better. Here are some pics! PS. Never flying American Airlines/United EVER again!!! Horrible experience!!!

It COULD happen to you

So some of you may have seen the News 10 coverage of a burglary/assault on cops report in Roseville. Well the victim was my good friend, Char. She woke up to the sound of a man clicking open his knife at the foot of her bed at 1am. It turns out he was on a Meth bender and had been casing her place for weeks. She startled him by waking up and he roared at her. She flew past him (which I would have never had the courage to do) all the while he was chasing after her. She got a way and pounded on neighbors doors until two women let her in. She called the cops and they showed up as he was trying to get away in her car (he found her keys). He wouldn't comply and proceeded to try and use the car as a deadly weapon and run over the police, so they shot at the car three times. He managed to escape and ditch the car, and he was found in an abandoned apartment at the complex the next day.

We were all pretty shaken up needless to say... You don't think it will happen to you or a loved one.. until it does. We're just so grateful for God's protection. He could have easily grabbed her as she ran past him, but we believe angels were protecting her. Stories like this make you value life more. Just like a thief in the night, it can all be gone in an instant and we can't take anything for granted.

This was us being reunited the next day. So glad you're safe Char Char!!!
