Palm Springs #D5

Well other than my Halloween post and tennis post about today, my mom and I laid out by the pool :)

Happy Excuse-to-Dress-Like-You-Work-the-Street-Corner-Day! #realtalk

This year I spent Halloween with my parents in Palm Springs soooo I didn't really bother with coming up with something super creative.. plus I don't have the money. So elf ears again it is!
We went to an amazing restaurant that we went to last year, and I had Moroccan Lamb Shank mmmm :)

Overcoming another fear

Today was monumental for me. It was the first day I played tennis since I reinjured my knee about 4 years ago.. Technically, I probably could have played over a year ago but fear has kept me from trying. I used to day-dream about sprinting for the ball and hitting it with all my might.. And finally, today, I went out with my dad and did it! It felt AMAZING.. Just like riding a bike, it all came back to me :)

Interesting

Palm Springs #D4

Today my mom and I had our usual routine by spending a few hours sunbathing and swimming, then we went out to this great Jewish restaurant called Sherman's. I looooove sauerkraut :) then we went and saw Puss in Boots 3D. It was actually pretty funny!

Palm Springs #D3

Today was so hoooooot, in the low 90's, but we got a lot of good tanning time in :) Dinner was interesting lol It was at a place with all rich, retired folks. I was the youngest person there by at LEAST 30 years or more. But the open mic night kept things interesting!
Then we went and listened to live jazz, and my dad and I even got to dance (:

I've been fighting migraines every day ever since my concussion. I brought a prescription with me, but it made me absolutely out of it. I swear these medications fix one thing (surface symptom but never the cause), and they cause a whole bunch of other health problems in its place.

"Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, heartburn, easy bruising/bleeding, shaking, mask-like facial expressions, muscle spasms, severe stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, fast/irregular heartbeat, fainting, seizures. May cause serious condition called serotonin syndrome. May cause hallucinations, unusual restlessness, loss of coordination, unexplained fever, twitching muscles. May cause serious condition called neuroleptic malignant syndrome."

and the list goes on!!!! are you KIDDING ME???!!!
ya heck-no techno I'll take an Excedrin.

Here are some fav pics from today:
