Wash it Away

Went and saw 50/50 tonight and it was sooooo good.. The subject of cancer hits close to home so I got emotional, but the acting was amazing and it was actually pretty hilarious at times. I definitely recommend it..

Tonight was the first real rain.. And the first time I had chills from actually being cold. I just love it. I just stood in my driveway and lifted my head with my eyes closed and took the first deep breath I've had in a long time. The street was quiet, warm lights coming from people's houses. The seasons are just mixing together.. It seems just like yesterday I was falling in love just as winter was melting into spring.

On the drive home, trying to see through the windshield was like trying to see when my eyes cloud up from that one song.. or driving by where it all began.. When will it heal? All I know is,

One day at a time, He's piecing my heart back together.
One day at a time, I'm returning to my first Love.
One day at a time, the light is returning to my eyes
One day at a time, hope is fanning into a brilliant flame.

One day at a time, I'm finding my song.

One tear at a time.. I'm letting you go.
