Reunited at last! I'm so excited for their wedding in March in HAWAII!!! :) 

Meet Jada

I've had Jada for over a week now, and she has settled in really well. At first she had to be with me at all times and freaked out if I left the room without her. She would even poke her head into the shower trying to get in with me. I've been training her to sleep in the family room because I would never get sleep if I let her sleep in my bed, at least while she's still a kitten. The first night it took her an hour and a half to fall asleep. The second night was 45 minutes. The third was 15, and finally it just takes her a few minutes to give up. She's an absolute darling and has the funniest personality. She's constantly surprising me, like how she meows to herself while she plays, how she watches tv with me, or the hilarious positions she falls asleep in. Here are some pics!

My New Place!

So in the 11th hour (yet again) I found a one bedroom apartment in the pocket area off 5 and Florin. I moved the next day after coming back from Palm Springs. It's really safe with a closed gate and great security. It's only a 25 min commute to work as well. I just feel so blessed. The timing of it is pretty incredible. I get the promotion just in time to be able to afford my own place so I didn't have to move back home. Thank you Jesus! These pics aren't the whole place because there's still work to do. Also, I'm bringing home my new kitten in 2 weeks! I named her Haley :) She's darling. So affectionate. She'll even leap up to your chest from a table and perch on your shoulders! 

Palm Springs!

I am so grateful I got to go to Palm Springs for my 4th year in a row on vacation. We had a relaxing time eating out, laying by the pool, sleeping in, playing tennis, and shopping. It was also fun being there for Halloween. The main strip is crazzyyy, especially with the zombie walk. Some lady got so scared she passed out right in front of me :(
